Solertiae has received a formal limited use license to carry forward the vision of Cru to share MPDX beyond Cru’s organization under the name Partner Essentials . We are excited to partner with TouchPoint Software to bring the capabilities of Solertiae Sites together with TouchPoint Software to create TouchPoint Sites. This web solution was created to you allow TouchPoint’s Partner Churches to render their database content directly to their website. Specifically, the launch of our integrated widgets will allow you to render things like church-wide events or post the latest info regarding Summer missions trips. Having your TouchPoint Database serve as the single source of truth, eliminates the time-consuming task of double data entry, and all the errors that are prone to that type of setup. From the onset, we wanted to offer flexible solutions and make them as accessible as possible. To that end, we've created two main service offerings to accommodate the needs of every partner church. Option #1: MicroSite Add-On A MicroSite is designed for any TouchPoint client who wants to utilize the widgets without having to migrate their site to another platform. You'll stick with your current CMS (i.e. WordPress, Squarespace, etc.), and link to a separate website whenever you want your users to interact with your widget content. Your end users will be aware that they're being redirected back and forth between your main site and your subdomain, but it will still be a good user experience. Option #2: Site Migration This option is for those who want to migrate their site to another platform to enjoy the benefits of a great CMS plus the added bonus of being able to seamlessly embed the widgets directly into your new site, providing an optimal user experience. If you’re interested in learning more about which CMS we recommend, then check out this article . For this option, you’ll want to think about how you want your website to look and feel. Do you want to clone the look of your existing website or create a brand new website experience? If you opt to have your site cloned, we’re happy to do this service for you. Our team are experts when it comes to cloning your website - we’ll even polish it up along the way. Similarly, you can take advantage of our professionally designed C hurch Website Template to serve as your new UI. On the other hand, if you're interested in a brand new website experience, we have some great partners that are accustomed to working with churches; they can help you tackle both the messaging and the aesthetics of your site. Several churches have already signed up for TouchPoint Sites at this point - with each one being slightly different from the next - showing that we’re flexible and committed to making this solution a win for you and your church. According to The International Labour Organization of the United Nations, the latest Global Estimates indicate that 50 million people were living in modern slavery in 2021. We must do better. And Covid taught us that together we actually can solve big problems. Solertiae has been contributing for years toward technology to help decrease human trafficking in the global supply chain. And this year we are entering the fight against child exploitation. Our children have access to a world of knowledge, entertainment, and learning potential via the internet. However it is also unavoidable that there are threats lurking in its shadows - pedophiles, cyberbullying, online predators, inappropriate content, and more. - which call for parents' vigilance as they strive to give their kids digital liberty without leaving them exposed. Predatory behavior is proliferating on social media, with predators employing malicious tactics to lure children into sharing explicit content. This deceptive process puts minors at risk of being blackmailed and forced into a ratchet-effect cycle where they must continuously send increasingly graphic material or have it shared across their contact list. Not only does this serve as an effective pipeline for human trafficking in the modern age, but many unsuspecting youth from developed nations are vulnerable targets—especially within platforms that people often consider “benign” such as Twitter and Reddit. Solertiae Labs is excited to announce we’ve received funding to begin work on a new mobile app concept, Parental Authority! The app sends images and videos of the content they wish to upload straight to the parents for approval or rejection. You can be sure that with this ingenious technology, you will always have the ability to decide which content should or shouldn't be shared online by your children.

If you're using an open source platform (like WordPress) to host your website, you'll need to constantly monitor your site. Keeping your features up to date can be cumbersome and requires ongoing developer support. More often than not - your site may not be receiving timely updates - leaving you at risk. This could lead to exposure of sensitive content and digital vandalism, an act where hackers inject inappropriate content on compromised websites. This could include profane content or even malware that can then get passed along to your web visitors. This could make you liable or - at the very least - impact your online reputation. The team at Solertiae has licensed a top-shelf web content management system to bring greater security while also providing more capability and a pleasant experience to building a website.

MPDX has updated to Okta from the current Key/Relay sign-in effective Tuesday August 31, 2021. This shift includes the web, iOS and Android platforms (though there may be a slight delay for the iOS and Android mobile apps). The reason for this change is to increase the security of your data in MPDX and to simplify sign-in systems used across Cru’s networks. This is what you used to see when signing into MPDX:
