The importance of a Parental Monitoring APP

According to The International Labour Organization of the United Nations, the latest Global Estimates indicate that 50 million people were living in modern slavery in 2021. We must do better.

And Covid taught us that together we actually can solve big problems.

Solertiae has been contributing for years toward technology to help decrease human trafficking in the global supply chain. And this year we are entering the fight against child exploitation.

Our children have access to a world of knowledge, entertainment, and learning potential via the internet. However it is also unavoidable that there are threats lurking in its shadows - pedophiles, cyberbullying, online predators, inappropriate content, and more. - which call for parents' vigilance as they strive to give their kids digital liberty without leaving them exposed.

Predatory behavior is proliferating on social media, with predators employing malicious tactics to lure children into sharing explicit content. This deceptive process puts minors at risk of being blackmailed and forced into a ratchet-effect cycle where they must continuously send increasingly graphic material or have it shared across their contact list. Not only does this serve as an effective pipeline for human trafficking in the modern age, but many unsuspecting youth from developed nations are vulnerable targets—especially within platforms that people often consider “benign” such as Twitter and Reddit.

Solertiae Labs is excited to announce we’ve received funding to begin work on a new mobile app concept, Parental Authority!

The app  sends images and videos of the content they wish to upload straight to the parents for approval or rejection. You can be sure that with this ingenious technology, you will always have the ability to decide which content should or shouldn't be shared online by your children.

Parents can keep their children safe from the dangers of the internet with this product. It provides peace of mind and allows parents to take necessary action if online activities indicate suicidal thoughts, violence, depression or other dangerous situations.

Let’s use the collective brain power that got us through a global pandemic and impact the next generation.
