Seven years - that’s the amount of shared history between the VP of Product Chris Dolan at TouchPoint and Solertiae President Brad McIlwain. These scheming church nerds first met before TouchPoint was TouchPoint while both served their local church on staff. Fast forward 7 years… a few babies, mergers and acquisitions, new startups, new jobs, and a pandemic - and these nerds are still at it - passionate about finding the right solution to serve the Church. And the connecting tissue is TouchPoint Software.
Brad McIlwain was drawn to TouchPoint Software because of its willingness to allow partner churches to contribute to the codebase. They understand the value of serving the needs of the local church while also being cognizant of growing a sustainable SaaS business in a very competitive market. The TouchPoint model is proven, and Solertiae has been excited over the last year to become a more formal part of their success.

Solertiae President Brad McIlwain got formally connected with mission via TEAM.org. TEAM was undergoing an ambitious organizational and technology shift in response to the changing tide of North American mission. With global workers positioned all over the world, TEAM had to find a way to quickly evolve with technology while controlling costs and keeping the most vulnerable safe. This journey led him to cross paths with MissioNexus where he became an IT Advisor and authored a series of articles on GDPR in the months leading up to the infamous May 25, 2018 deadline.
At the 2019 conference, Brad co-presented with

and
Scott Brawner
on Mitigating Risk in International Operations: IT, Communication, Financial, Legal, and Physical Security.
